Be accountable to yourself and to the people you work with. Do what you say you’re going to do. If you made a mistake, own up to it and do better next time.
Trustworthy
It comes when you understand what your client needs. Respect them and offer relevant services. As a virtual assistant, you should be honest, consistent, and reliable.
Proactive attitude
Think ahead to what your clients need to keep the work fresh and it is also a way to showcase your expertise. Do not wait for your clients to contact you to send you the tasks they want you to work on. Be proactive and schedule regular meetings or calls to discuss what help they’ll be needing in their business.
A successful Virtual Assistant avoids procrastination. You should be able to motivate yourself given that work can be difficult some days. Beating procrastination is a really important part of your mindset. Develop good daily routines and work habits. I understand there are things you don’t particularly like doing, consider doing those in the morning to get them done. Tasks that require more concentration or focus should be done at your most productive time of the day.
